Energy Balls with Protein

What are these Energy Balls that everyone celebrates? We tried them ourselves and join the hype - especially these ones are pretty delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 120 g dates 
  • 50 g nupro Cacao Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp dark cocoa powder 
  • 2 tsp almond paste 
  • 15 g walnuts  

instructions:

  1. Soak dates in warm water for 20 minutes. Then pour off the liquid.
  2. Place dates, nupro, cocoa powder, almond paste and walnuts in a food processor and mix until a slightly crumbly, sticky mass is formed. 
  3. Walnuts roughly hook and only then into the mass - then it will be crunchy!
  4. Shape about 1 tablespoon per ball by hand into energy balls of the same size.
